Quartzite
Quartzite is a natural stone that is known for its strength and durability. Quartzite visually can match the look of marble with performance closer to granite. It’s highly resistant to heat and scratching, although it requires sealing to prevent stains.
Soapstone
A smooth, non-porous stone with a soft, matte finish, soapstone is known for its rich, dark tones and natural patina that develops over time. It’s highly resistant to stains and heat and requires minimal maintenance. Soapstone can be known to scratch or dent more easily, and periodically requires a mineral oil sealing to maintain its look.
Travertine
A classic natural stone with warm, earthy tones and a slightly textured look. Travertine brings a timeless, rustic feel to any space. It is one of those classic Mediterranean looks that can bring an old-world aesthetic. Although it is softer and more porous, it is better suited for lower-traffic areas or sealed applications. Travertine can also stain if not properly sealed.
Limestone
A subtle, elegant stone with soft, neutral coloring and minimal patterning. Limestone offers a clean, understated earth stone look, giving it a coastal aesthetic. Limestone is more of a special request as it is more porous and softer than other options, so it’s best used in areas with lighter use or with proper sealing and care.

Tile & Flooring
We also offer a wide selection of tile and flooring options through MSI. While installation is not provided for these products, we are happy to help you place special orders and source exactly what you need. These materials are versatile and can be used in a variety of applications, including kitchen and bathroom backsplashes, utility areas, and other off-kitchen spaces. They are also commonly used for flooring, shower surrounds, and fireplace accents.
